Scientific Project and Alliance Manager – Immunology

The mission of the Allen Institute for Immunology is to advance the fundamental understanding of human immunology through the study of immune health and diseases where excessive or impaired immune responses drive pathological processes. The Institute will employ a multi-disciplinary team approach in collaboration with academic centers of human immunology to generate novel mechanistic insights into the immune synapse in health and in diseases such as autoimmunity or oncology. The Institute will simultaneously provide a foundational data set and tools for future immunological research as well as a novel collaboration portal for the broader scientific community.
We are seeking a Scientific Project and Alliance Manager to join our team in supporting the mission and vision of gaining a deep understanding of the Human Immune System during health and disease. The Institute utilizes an Alliance Business Model, leveraging the strengths of multiple partners dedicated to common goals advancing science and solutions in Immunology. Reporting to the Director of Scientific Operations, this position will support the execution of multiple projects in the areas of Tissue Immunity and Neuroimmune Interactions. The successful candidate will possess a strong scientific foundation, have exposure to working with large and complex data sets, and will have demonstrated progressive abilities and responsibilities as a professional Scientific Project and Alliance Manager. As a leader, collaborator and effective communicator, this role can drive momentum and build consensus, working at the interface of multi-site and multi-disciplinary teams.
