We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Product Design to lead the mechanical development of a cutting-edge solution that integrates engineering with legal and business applications.

Job Summary

As a Mechanical Engineer – Product Design , you will play a crucial role in designing, prototyping, and optimizing a new product that aligns with our legal-tech initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring this vision to life, ensuring the product meets high-performance, safety, and manufacturability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for an innovative legal-tech product.
• Create detailed CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Work on prototyping, testing, and iterative improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, industry, and intellectual property regulations.
• Collaborate with legal experts, software engineers, and business strategists to align technical requirements with market needs.
• Research and integrate materials and manufacturing processes suitable for product scalability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical product design, prototyping, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Experience in design for manufacturability (DFM) and rapid prototyping.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
• Ability to work in a startup-like environment within an established firm.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of legal-tech hardware applications.
• Experience with IoT, smart devices, or security-related mechanical designs.
• Familiarity with patent applications and intellectual property protection.
• Strong understanding of material selection for high-durability products.
