Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a motivated mechanical engineer to join our production engineering office. The ideal candidate will work primarily on creating and updating engineering drawings, performing minor changes to CAD models, creating manuals, and establishing standard operating procedures. The role involves utilizing SolidWorks as the primary CAD software to manipulate and assess production models.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize SolidWorks CAD software to manipulate and assess production models.
+ Create cut packets for tubes and structural members.
+ Create machined component drawings.
+ Work in a fast-paced environment directly with the production line.
+ Collaborate with a team of engineers.
+ Demonstrate self-motivation and a willingness to learn.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software.
+ Experience with CAD Software.
+ Ability to work with wire harness and production models.
+ Capability to create bill of materials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Sigmanest.
+ Entry-level to experienced engineer qualifications.
+ A solid attitude towards teamwork and gaining experience.
+ Motivation to learn and enthusiasm for the industry.
Work Environment
The role operates within a local site consisting of approximately 170 team members. Typical working hours are from 7 AM to 5 PM, with a 45-hour work week and potential for overtime. The position offers opportunities to work on a variety of projects, ensuring that skills are well-rounded and career development is supported.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $51.00/hr.
