Job Description

Salary: 44,850 - 81,075 USD per year Requirements:

  • US Citizenship
  • BS/BA or AS/AA in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or a related IT discipline. If you hold a bachelor’s degree, we are seeking 2+ years of experience; for an associate degree, 4+ years; and if you hold a high school diploma or equivalent, you will need 6 years of directly related work experience supporting help desk Tier I, II, and/or III operations.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 Compliance).
  • Currently hold DoD Secret with TS/SCI Eligibility.
Responsibilities:
  • I will provide technical support and troubleshooting services for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • I will respond to queries either in person or over the phone, as well as to emails, IM messages, and voicemail messages from customers seeking help.
  • I will install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • I will deliver excellent customer service and work towards quick resolution of technical issues for customers via chat, email, and deskside support.
  • I will provide Tier 1 on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of desktops, printers, and associated peripherals.
  • I will troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Microsoft Windows, desktop applications, collaboration tools, shared drives, email, and other technologies.
  • I will support Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory products.
  • I will document and track customer incidents and requests via a ticketing management system, updating troubleshooting and resolution efforts and efficiently escalating tickets to appropriate teams where applicable.
  • I will isolate and resolve issues with individual workstations.
  • I will act as a resource to answer user questions about hardware and software issues.
  • I will interact with multiple teams, including system administrators, network technicians, infrastructure technicians, and application engineers, to identify and correct core problems.
