Job Description

Position Summary:

This position works closely with the Medical Operations GMP Manager and Medical GMP Coordinator in the development and continual improvement of the GMP program to assure regulatory compliance in the Duncan SC Sealed Air Medical Applications facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records for raw material receipts, test results and production usage.
• Assist in assuring only certified raw materials are released for production.
• Utilize Lab Information Management System (LIMS) for Analytical Services requests.
• Maintain accurate records for film and raw material lab submissions.
• Support as needed, the Quality Department by performing raw materials and film testing for product release. 
• Prepare workbooks for standard production.
• Support GMP Coordinator with development trials.
• Review batch records to assure compliance with GMPs and ISO requirements.
• Maintain batch record corrections log.
• Prepare required documents for Medical Quality Release Board (MQRB) meetings for product release.
• Store and maintain records of retained batch records, films and raw materials.
• Review and prepare batch records for customer audits.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED required.

Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing and laboratory environment a plus. 
• Has a safety-first mentality.
• Experience in handling policy or procedural documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively on own initiative as well as effectively contributing to the team environment. 
• Works collaboratively with others.
• Works proficiently in Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, etc.

• Familiarity with SAP preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs preferred.
