Job Description
Labcorp Genetics is seeking a motivated, self-starter to join a team of genetic counselors to support busy maternal fetal medicine practices in San Diego, CA. This individual will be responsible for providing in-person and virtual comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling services and may also support our Results Reporting Programs.
Please note: this is a hybrid position; working both onsite and remotely. The Genetic Counselor may be required to work onsite in the San Diego and/or greater Southern California area and work remotely/from home. However, this is not a 100% remote position. Candidates must be located in the Southern California area or be willing to relocate.
**In this job you will:**
+ Have the opportunity to provide direct patient care for a wide variety of complex indications from an extensive referral base both onsite, and via video conference

+ Have access to the expertise of a nation-wide organization of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling colleagues

**Requirements:**
+ MA/MS in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling
+ ABGC/ABMG certification or active candidate status required
+ Highly organized, including excellent time management skills
+ Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
+ Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office
**Pay Range:** $94,000 - $125,000
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
