Temple University Hillel is seeking a passionate and dynamic Community Engagement Associate to build relationships with students and create meaningful Jewish experiences on campus. With approximately 1,500 Jewish students at Temple (about 4.55% of the student body), we are looking for someone excited to foster engagement, support student leaders, and develop innovative programming to connect students to Jewish life.
The ideal candidate will be a relationship-builder, an excellent communicator, and an enthusiastic presence on campus. They will work to empower students, help shape Jewish student life, and create a welcoming and pluralistic community. This role will center wellness as a foundational pillar of engagement—not just as a program, but as an integral part of Jewish life. Through Jewish wisdom and values, the Community Engagement Associate will guide students in cultivating well-being, resilience, and meaningful connections.
Temple University Hillel sits on a diverse urban campus and is dedicated to creating a welcoming, pluralistic Jewish community where students can explore their identities, develop leadership skills, and build lifelong connections. Whether through Shabbat and holiday celebrations, immersive Jewish learning, social action initiatives, Israel engagement, wellness programs, or leadership development, Temple Hillel is the hub for Jewish life on campus.
