We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Smog & Repair Technician to join our dynamic team.

As a Smog Repair Technician at Honda World, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing smog inspections on a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles meet all regulatory standards and are running efficiently. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are paramount.

Smog & Repair Technician Responsibilities

  • Conduct smog inspections and emissions testing in compliance with state regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle conditions, repairs, and recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

Smog & Repair Technician Qualifications

  • ASE Certification or equivalent automotive repair certification.
  • State smog technician license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening – THC not included in the screening.
