We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Smog & Repair Technician to join our dynamic team.
As a Smog Repair Technician at Honda World, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing smog inspections on a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles meet all regulatory standards and are running efficiently. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are paramount.
Smog & Repair Technician Responsibilities
Conduct smog inspections and emissions testing in compliance with state regulations.
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle conditions, repairs, and recommendations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications
Smog & Repair Technician Qualifications
ASE Certification or equivalent automotive repair certification.
State smog technician license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening – THC not included in the screening.
