An Established Automotive Parts Manufacturing firm are looking for an Automation Engineer

The firm - is a well-respected and Established Automotive Parts Manufacturing firm with locations all over the United States.

The experienced Automation Engineer aims to ensure in an autonomous and safe way the maintenance interventions, both in the corrective mode and in the continuous improvement process of the automated systems of the site. The Automation Engineer participates to the improvement of the equipment, in the design phase as well as in the implementation phase.

Responsibilities:

- Update the technical file (mechanical and electrical drawings, bill of material, instructions,...)

- Provide the requested support to maintenance staff of external companies having an intervention on site with the agreement of his leader.

- Be able to find technical data.

- When needed, he could be asked to make some preventive and corrective maintenance activities (pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanics,...)

- Study of automated systems (functional analysis, GRAFCET,...)

- Modification of PLC program, display, supervisions,

- Training of the staff from maintenance to troubleshooting operation done with computer.

- Training of the staff in production for the usage of modified or updated equipment

- Track record in the ERP system

Skills Required:

- Automation, Speed change management, regulation etc.

- Knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic, Electro Mechanical domain

- IT Knowledge: Word / Excel + ERP system

- Writing PLC Programs in Siemens and Allen Bradley

Compensation: DOE + Benefits
