Job Overview
Regional Sales Manager – Manage the Customers in assigned states in the USA. Traveling for customer visits and phone/email contacts with the customer base. Travel is approximately 15- 20%.
Job description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must have experience in territorial, key account, and project management.
Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding sales performance and objectives.
Maintains accurate records of all sales and activity reports.
Creates and conducts proposal presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Maintains proper communication with all customers in the to ensure high levels of
customer satisfaction.
Demonstrates the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
Sets short and long-term sales strategies.
Should be familiar with common business concepts, practices and procedures.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Develop key relationships with strategic customers.
Achieve pre-defined sales targets
Work closely with the Project, Design, Marketing and Production teams to ensure
customer requirements are met on a timely basis.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate shall be an energetic, effective, self-starter with strong verbal
and written communication skills who is able to excel in a technical sales environment.
5-10 years of technical sales experience.
Aptitude for electro-mechanical products a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Technologically advanced and oriented. Must have above average computer and
technical skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Customer service oriented and organized.
Must have a natural ability to engage in business relationships with individuals and groups and a desire to improve these talents.
Associates Degree in Business related field or 5+ experience in sales.
