Receptionist
· 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, 4-day work week. Unless otherwise approved by management
· Check in / Check out
o Ensure all demographic and insurance is verified and update as needed at time of check in
o Collect monies needed (copay, forms, balance)
o Schedule patients as needed
o Balance money drawer at the end of each shift. If assistance is needed or amounts are off, Front Office Manager is notified for verification and sign off
o Late night receptionist ensures no patients in building and locks front doors, turning off lights in front office
· Notifying new patients once records received and scheduling initial appt
· Periodically check main appt line (1006) and return messages in a timely manner
· Periodically check Patient Portal messages, dispersing as needed to corresponding dept
· Scan insurance cards given by insurance dept
· Input immunization records received from pharmacies
· Periodically check Ravepoint and call patients when appt reminders are not successful
· Referral help, when able, with send off referrals that do not require phone calls be made
· Obtain hospital reports for upcoming Hospital F/U appts
· Other tasks as needed by management and other office personnel
