Job Description

Holy Spirit Catholic School is seeking a part-time Reading Intervention Teacher to join their team in Norway, MI. As a Reading Intervention Teacher, you will work with students to help them build foundational literacy skills and improve overall reading proficiency.

WHAT WE OFFER.

Hourly wage of $18.00 - $20.00 commensurate with education and experience. Part-time schedule. 10-15 hours per week Paid sick/personal time off. Discounted tuition for children enrolled at Holy Spirit.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to identify students' reading intervention needs. Deliver targeted reading instruction based on identified needs. Monitor student progress to ensure academic success Demonstrate a passion for literacy development and student growth Commit to supporting learners at all levels Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

Bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred. Previous teaching experience preferred but not required. Practicing Catholic preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to complete fingerprint scan, federally mandated background check, and VIRTUS training. SOUND LIKE YOU?
