Job Description

Liquid Measurements and Controls Inc is currently looking for a heavy truck upfitter with mechanical, automotive electrical and pneumatic experience to join our Petroleum / Propane truck upfit/install team in Pottstown, PA. As an installer/upfitter you will work independently as part of a team building custom petroleum and propane distribution trucks based on the customers specifications. Military Veterans are encouraged to apply. 

Responsibilities:

• Install truck equipment including but not limited to; tanks, pneumatic valves, PTO's and pumps, meters and registers, electronics, cabinets, lights and other customer specified equipment.
• Use hand tools to complete equipment installation.
• Install equipment according to job scope and mechanical drawings
• Use tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Work with the management and sales team to meet job deadlines.
• Understand LM&C products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to follow written directions and blueprints.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools to complete installation procedures.
• 12-volt automotive wiring.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic installation.
• MIG & TIG welding experience.
• Detail and Goal oriented.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Assembly experience.
• Class B Hazmat or ability to obtain one.
• Install/Upfit experience (preferred).
• MUST HAVE MECHANICAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE.
