Job Description

We are currently seeking a Oracle Fusion Production Support Analyst for a FULLY REMOTE full time employee position. 10+ years of Oracle Finance experience, with 3+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Finance, with a concentration in General Ledger. An Oracle certification is preferred.


The role consults with business partners to define requirements and develop solution alternatives and estimates in Oracle Fusion General Ledger and Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub. This role will ensure the day-to-day operational activities are running as expected, resolving incidents, managing updates, performing configurations and performing root cause analysis. This person will also manage all vendors for this functional IT domain, and they will ensure the services being provided by the outsource provider(s) are consistently meeting SLA’s.. This person will be accountable for the support of all technology solutions in Oracle Fusion General Ledger and Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Solution all functional aspects of Oracle Cloud implementation/support for modules General Ledger, Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH), Financial reporting
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT management to innovate operations and provide a competitive advantage through technology
  • Conduct independent analyses and reviews of technical and business requirements, leveraging expertise in technological alternatives and directions
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of General Ledger, FAH, Financial reporting solutions
  • Responsible for daily support of Oracle Cloud SaaS Application Fusion GL modules and third-party systems, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ability to expertly collect and transform business requirements into system functionality
  • Investigate new technologies and propose strategies to meet long-term business objectives, adjusting product architecture as needed
  • Collaborate and guide application support team on innovative solution and business requirement
  • Plan, manage and support Finance module enhancements and operations
  • Plan and manage operational changes to the application portfolio driven by business events, process improvements, bug fixes, or software releases
  • Lead communication with internal staff and 3rd party service providers as required
  • Design and manage Regression testing of applications as required
  • Tracks and fully documents change for functional and business specifications; writes detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training
  • Recognizes, communicates, and escalates concerns relevant to critical path and/or timeline of issues in a timely manner

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years of Oracle Finance experience, with 3+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in leading and managing team
  • Project experience and Subject Matter of Expert in Oracle Fusion Cloud modules of General Ledger, FAH, Financial reporting
  • Functional Oracle expertise in large US based Hospital and School
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required
  • Proven record of working with senior business leaders in developing technology roadmaps and strategies
  • Cross-module experience with Oracle Fusion Supply Chain and Projects Costing is a plus
  • Experience in delivering IT solutions on time and on budget
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies and their implementations in ERP package solutions
  • Good working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Finance architecture and administration
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and collaboration skills

Licensing and Certification

Oracle General Ledger certification preferred not required
