Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential therapeutic services while also supporting the clinic's operational functions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the mental health and well-being of our patients, improving care outcomes, and fostering a welcoming, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients through a variety of methods, including interviews with patients, their families, and other individuals involved in care.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on the unique emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, and behavioral needs of each patient.
Collaborate with a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner when necessary to provide medication management consultations.
Provide crisis intervention to ensure the safety and well-being of patients in critical situations.
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, including treatment notes and medication administration.
Stay current with the latest professional practices by engaging in continuous learning activities such as reading publications, attending educational conferences, and connecting with peers in the field.
Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards in all aspects of care.
Conduct both virtual and in-person patient visits as needed to accommodate patient needs.
Required Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in a mental health field (e.g., social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling).
Completion of all training required for state registration, including BLS, ACLS, and Infection Control Training.
A strong understanding of HIPAA Compliance and at least 1 year of experience working as a licensed therapist.
Fully licensed by your state to provide counseling (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC) is preferred.
Additional certifications such as ABA, DBT, CBT, or EMDR are a plus but not required.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and bilingual skills (Spanish and English) are preferred.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a respectful, collaborative approach to interdisciplinary care.
