Job Summary
As a Psychotherapist, you will be an essential part of our team, providing meaningful support through a combination of therapeutic services and administrative duties. Your expertise will directly contribute to the mental health and well-being of our patients, elevate the overall patient care experience, and enhance our reputation as a holistic healthcare provider.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations through interviews with patients, their families, and other key individuals involved in their care.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on each patient's unique emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral needs.
Collaborate with our in-house Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner when needed, providing consultations for medication management.
Provide crisis intervention and ensure the safety and well-being of patients during critical situations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and clinical records, detailing treatments and medications provided.
Engage in continuous professional development by participating in learning activities such as reading relevant publications, attending educational conferences, and networking with peers.
Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards in all aspects of your work, ensuring compliance with industry policies and regulations.
Conduct both virtual and in-office visits to meet patient needs, as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate degree in a mental health-related field (e.g., social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling).
Completed all necessary training for registration (including BLS, ACLS, and Infection Control Training).
A strong understanding of HIPAA compliance with at least one year of experience as a Licensed Therapist.
Fully licensed by your state to provide counseling (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC) is preferred.
Additional certifications such as ABA, DBT, CBT, and EMDR are a plus but not required.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus.
Bilingual (Spanish and English) skills are preferred but not required.
