As a Physical Therapy Assistant in our team, you play a crucial role in providing direct treatment as planned by the Physical Therapist. You also have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise by training Day Habilitation Aides and Residential Supporters in essential skills such as range of motion exercises, ambulation techniques, and standing programs. By ensuring that supports and orders are carried out correctly, you contribute to the overall well-being and progress of our Day Habilitation members. Additionally, you maintain accurate documentation, such as monthly flow sheets and quarterly notes, to ensure proper record-keeping. Your regular feedback to the supervising therapist helps us track the progress and make necessary adjustments to our members' treatment plans.

  • Associate Degree in a related field
  • Currently holding a LPTA license by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Professionals
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to attend pool with individuals, up to and including lifting and swimming as needed

Job Type : Full-Time or Part-Time, up to 32 hours/week
