Lead SAP FICO Consultant Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Lead SAP FICO Consultant to join our team and support the delivery of digital transformation initiatives centered on SAP S/4HANA implementation. This role requires in-depth expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling modules, the ability to manage and execute system changes efficiently, and strong collaboration skills to work effectively across business and IT functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide applications expertise and knowledge in SAP and non-SAP system integration within your designated applications area
• Assist in planning and managing the delivery of application changes to ensure specification, timelines, and budget commitments are met while working in a Kanban environment
• Ensure enhancements in the O2C and P2P areas align with client principles, patterns, and standards
• Produce formal design documents and specifications to drive solution builds effectively
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external partners and their consultants to maximize benefits for the business
• Support the integration of business process and application functionality during change activities, ensuring clear communication
• Collaborate with the Applications Support Manager to meet agreed service levels and assist with the formal hand-over of newly developed solutions
• Stay updated on developments in SAP and related technologies to offer innovative solutions to the business
• Contribute to strategies, standards, policies, and procedures within your area of expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
• 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
• Expertise in SAP Finance processes including General Ledger Accounting (FI-GL), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), and Accounts Payable (FI-AP)
• Proficiency in Bank Accounting (FI-BL), financial reporting, and tax accounting processes
• Background in SAP O2C processes with minimum 3 years of SAP consulting experience
• Proven track record in delivering successful SAP functional changes for a global company, including SAP S/4HANA implementations or upgrades
• Deep understanding of ERP functionalities and global operational requirements
• Skills in translating business requirements into aligned packaged solutions
• Experience with at least three full-cycle SAP projects, including involvement in design through deployment phases
• Strong interpersonal skills with efficient communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities
• Excellent written English (B2+ level) to support documentation and stakeholder communication
