Job Description

This full time Landscaper position works in a team to create professional and aesthetically pleasing grounds. Maintain grounds by using hand and power tools and equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: watering, mowing, trimming, planting, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and decorating, while providing curb appeal.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to manually remove brush and debris
• Read and interpret safety operating documents used to operate equipment
• Cut lawns using push mower and riding mowers
• Ability to follow safety procedures on a daily basis
• Interact with employee and guest in a courteous manner
• Trim shrubs, bushes, tree s, and pull weeds
• Rake, mulch, and prune grounds as needed
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed
• Shovel and move landscaping materials
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment utilized for landscaping
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Ability to work throughout the seasons in various weather conditions
• Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be able to bend and lift
• Must possess excellent organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
• Must wear weather appropriate clothing, including hats, gloves, boots and rain gear
• Must be able to pass drug test, including for marijuana and random tests
• Candidates must agree to a background check
