Junior Marketing Cloud Frontend Developer Description

We are looking for a Junior Marketing Cloud Frontend Developer to join our technology team.

This role will focus on supporting technology for consumer experiences, from first impressions through payment in North America and Western Europe. The ideal candidate will assist in both enhancement and platform work, collaborating with various teams within the organization to implement product roadmaps and designs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of platform work including system upgrades and security patch implementation
• Collaborate with the Digital Product Management and Technology Functional Teams to understand requirements
• Engage in complete engineering, unit, functional, and integration testing of enhancement work
• Support integrations across all Salesforce platforms
• Build and maintain POC email campaigns, cloud pages, and other web-based functionalities
• Manage data, integrations, and automations, including the setup and management of complex automations for data import in Automation Studio
• Write queries for data segmentation, manipulation, and discovery reporting using SQL
• Automate tasks and customize functionalities using SSJS

Requirements

• At least 6 months of working experience in a technology or marketing-related field
• Experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Background in SQL and SSJS for backend development, managing data, and custom automations
• Familiarity with email template backend customizations and AMPscript
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for integration with external systems
• Proficiency in working with SFMC-specific APIs like Transactional Messaging API and Bulk API
• Understanding of managing JSON payloads in API calls and responses
• Capability to engage in both enhancement and platform-related work
