Job description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metalworking techniques and the ability to operate various tools and machinery. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring high-quality standards. Responsibilities Fabricate sheet metal components according to specifications and blueprints. Assemble and install sheet metal products, including ducts, gutters, and roofing systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, bend, and shape metal materials. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards. Troubleshoot and repair existing sheet metal installations as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications. Requirements Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry. Proficiency in using an Ohmmeter for electrical measurements is preferred. Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as required. Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
