We're Hiring a Human Resources Director to Join Our Team!

As a Human Resources Director at Vheda Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization's human resources operations and contributing to strategic HR initiatives. We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who can effectively manage HR administrative functions while helping to foster a positive company culture. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a passion for employee development. Your expertise will help us maintain operational excellence while supporting our mission to improve health equity for underserved populations. We’re looking for a strategic thinker with deep HR expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for people development and organizational culture. This role reports directly to the CEO and serves as a key member of the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with Vheda Health’s mission, values, and business objectives.
  • Team Management & Development Lead, mentor, and develop a growing HR team, ensuring excellence in delivery across all HR functions including talent acquisition, benefits, employee engagement, compliance, and DEIB initiatives.
  • Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning Oversee full-cycle recruitment, succession planning, and workforce development to attract and retain top talent.
  • Organizational Culture & Engagement Champion employee engagement, culture-building efforts, and change management strategies that foster an inclusive and positive work environment.
  • Policy & Compliance Oversight Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and reflect industry best practices.
  • Compensation & Benefits Strategy Evaluate, design, and manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, equity, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Performance Management & Learning Lead performance management and employee development programs, including training, coaching, and career growth initiatives.
  • Executive Partnership Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on HR-related matters including organizational design, employee relations, and leadership development.
  • HR Systems & Analytics Optimize the use of HRIS and data analytics to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement across HR operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR required.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing people strategies in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using HRIS systems and leveraging data for decision-making.
