Salary: 85,150 - 153,925 USD per year Requirements:

• Five years’ experience as a systems engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Two years’ experience performing engineering, software development, testing, or system administration of Ground C2 systems such as JTCW, TCS, GCCS, TSOA, CHE, CDN, JBC-P, or MCH.
• Experience in project management, configuration management, and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide guidance to teams in providing technical support and expertise for test, engineering, and training efforts related to Ground C2 systems such as JTCW, TCS, GCCS, TSOA, CHE, CDN, JBC-P, or MCH.
• Define, organize, and assign activities to accomplish engineering and testing efforts.
• Provide technical mentoring to individuals and teams.
• Develop, integrate, and implement solutions to diverse, highly complex technical problems across multiple areas and disciplines.
• Develop, review, write, or provide technical input to technical test and engineering documents.
• Develop and present briefings as required.
• Document technical status, progress, and problems encountered during test and engineering events.
• Interact independently and proactively with customers to identify and define complex problems, developing and implementing strategies for resolving technical issues.
• Work with customers to evaluate and analyze technical requirements and test objectives to develop plans to test these requirements and objectives.
• Identify, plan, allocate, and optimize resources to complete multiple project-related tasks and goals.
• Manage and maintain equipment and configurations in the test and engineering labs.
• Effectively accomplish multiple project goals within established guidelines.

We are seeking a Ground Command and Control (C2) Systems Engineer for our Navy-Marine Corps Business Area to oversee the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) C5ISR systems support to Program Managers and the Fleet Marine Force (FMF). Our team focuses on providing engineering, testing, and evaluation, supporting experimentation on C5ISR systems and amphibious and ground combat vehicle systems to inform acquisition decisions and enhance FMF capabilities.

As a Ground C2 Systems Engineer, you will develop a deep understanding of supporting Marine Corps Program Managers and the FMF in all system testing, engineering, and experimentation. This position will report to the Leidos site lead.
