General Summary: Reporting to the President, provides executive support with responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of the President’s Office, facilitating complex and confidential matters, coordinating college-wide events and other events in support of the college mission, performing a wide variety of administrative support duties, and serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate’s degree from a recognized college or technical institute with a major study in office management/technology, business administration, accounting, or public administration, or a related field. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience: Four years of experience in a position of responsibility in office or business management activities. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
License/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License or access to statewide transportation.
Additional Desired Qualifications: Proficient us of technology including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media software; Effective organizational, administrative, project/program management, customer service, and problem-solving skills; Ability to express ideas and information clearly and concisely without errors both orally and in writing; Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment; Ability to work independently with appropriate initiative, creativity, and attention to detail; Ability to address matters with tact and diplomacy; to exercise sound judgment and discretion; demonstrate professional and ethical behavior; and to maintain confidentiality; Ability to foster collaborative and effective working relationships with diverse groups of constituents internal and external to the college and to work in a team environment; Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and presence. Administrative support experience in higher education; Demonstrated experience in organizing and coordinating events; Experience in conducting research and ability to analyze and interpret data; Ability to understand, interpret, and apply policies and regulations; Ability to work evenings and weekends as may be required.
License/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License or access to transportation.
