As a Category Manager, you'll be responsible for creating and implementing a futuristic viewpoint of the pet care category to transform our customer accounts within the Pet Specialty environment. You'll exemplify the leadership and communication skills that drive lasting relationships and top business results. Working cross-functionally across all Nestlé Purina assets, your ability to drive pet category strategy and planning with our customers will be key to our team of experts. + Develop customer category strategies and initiatives that deliver retailer growth + Proactively identify gaps and opportunities for space analysis and category growth + Leverage 4P (product, price, placement, and promotion) analytics to develop and deliver consistent category reviews for the customer + Complete Plan-O-Gram analysis to develop and influence shelf/adjacency/assortment recommendations for total pet department and categories to maximize category growth + Influence customers through compelling category strategies and insights **Requirements** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution + 3+ years of experience in category development, account management, or business analytics **Other** + Plan-o-gram Development experience for store implementation (JDA, Apollo, etc.) is preferred + Must be able to travel up to 10%, or as the business requires + Experience working with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, etc) is preferred Don't meet all the qualifications listed under "other"? The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000-$130,000 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
