: The Bookstore Manager is expected to deliver all services that support and advance the DCB Bookstore mission statement, oversee all functions of a small retail operation, both the physical store and the on-line store. Duties to include buying all course materials, products, merchandising, sales, marketing, inventory management and control; budgets, financial management and goals, supervise staff, maintain information systems, service levels and operating policies within the bookstore and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Associate degree in Business or closely related field, retail and supervisory experience. Ability to effectively interact and communicate with customers, students, faculty, and staff. High level of computer/software proficiency. Ability to work flexible hours occasionally (evening and weekend hours are required when campus events are occurring).
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Previous experience in a Higher Ed environment. Previous bookstore experience.
COMPENSATION : 12 months, full-time, benefited position. Salary based on experience and education. Retirement plan and full coverage for family health insurance.
