Bella’s Bake Shop in Mount Kisco, NY, is looking for passionate and dedicated baker to join our strong, efficient team. We are located at 69 S Moger Ave and specialize in naturally leavened breads and exceptional pastries. As a family-owned and operated artisan bakery, our mission is to provide our community with unique, innovative baked goods while educating people about real food.

About the Role

A Baker at Bella’s Bake Shop is a hard-working and reliable team member eager to support, learn, and grow in the craft of baking. This position involves hands-on experience in various aspects of pastry-making and sourdough bread production.

Key Responsibilities

• Support managers and team members in all aspects of baking and production
• mixing, folding dough, shaping bread and pastries, scoring loaves, laminating pastry, preparing fillings, and baking
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including washing dishes, sweeping, sanitizing, and mopping
• Follow recipes and procedures with precision and attention to detail
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and maintain consistency
• Assist with customer service, farmers’ markets, and logistics as needed
• Identify and report any issues proactively to management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid ID and food handling certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Prior kitchen experience.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift heavy ingredients/equipment
• Strong math skills for scaling and measuring ingredients
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work long shifts when needed
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Willingness to work weekends and assist with markets when needed

Position Details

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Work schedule: 5-day work week, Tuesday–Saturday availability
• Starting pay: $16/hour (during training)
• Growth opportunities available
• Time-off requests: Must be submitted at least two weeks in advance
