Job Description

As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in the daily administrative operations, helping maintain organization and support other staff members. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided during the first six months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.)
• Assist in scheduling and coordination of meetings
• Support bookkeeping procedures and document management
• Update records and databases with personnel, financial, and other data
• Help prepare regular reports
• Provide general support to visitors

Qualifications

 

• Must be a US Citizen & speak English fluently
• Proven ability to handle administrative responsibilities.
• Familiarity with office equipment and applications (e.g., MS Office).
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and reference verification.

POSITION LOCATION: Williamsburg, Virginia

DUTY HOURS: Monday - Thursday; 10 AM - 2PM or 9 AM - 1PM

TERM: Permanent; Part-Time 

SALARY: 

• Starting salary at $17.00/hour with the potential to increase up to $18.00/hour within the first year, based on performance and successful skills acquisition. Pay increases will occur in steps, reflecting the ongoing assessment of performance throughout the on-the-job training period.
• Flexible work hours.
