Administrative Assistant II —a key position that supports our County Administration.
As the first point of contact for the County Administrator’s Office, you'll play a vital role in representing our mission to the public, staff, and external partners. Your professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information will be essential in this highly visible and trusted position.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide advanced administrative and clerical support to Administration staff
- Assist County Attorney and HR departments as needed
- Greet and assist the public, staff, and stakeholders with professionalism and confidentiality
- Interact with elected officials, dignitaries, and high-profile visitors
- Manage sensitive information with integrity and sound judgment
Minimum Qualifications: - Associate’s degree in business administration, public administration, office management, or a related field preferred
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative or office support experience
- Experience working with confidential or sensitive information
- Prior experience supporting management or executive-level staff is highly desirable
The minimum starting salary is $40,649 plus robust benefits package outlined below.
